Williamsburg Loft

Completed - New York City - 2000 sqf

This two-story loft renovation is situated in a former shoe polish factory. Features include a new connecting stair, 18-ft high kitchen cabinetry, and two new bathrooms. The design is a celebration of materials in raw and unrefined states, including plywood, maple, brick and concrete. The architectural interventions strategically join with the existing bones to create dynamic compositions of new + old, rough + smooth, heavy + delicate.
