About
Founded in 2021, Ideas of Order is an architecture and design studio based in Chinatown, NYC. Collectively, Henry and Jacob have 20 years of experience designing spaces in commercial, cultural, residential and public sectors.
Our studio is named after Wallace Stevens' poem The Idea of Order at Key West which explores creativity, nature and the human experience.
Jacob Esocoff, AIA
Jacob is a third generation architect and received his BA from Sarah Lawrence College and his M.Arch from Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation. He is licensed in New York State.
Prior to co-founding Ideas of Order, he worked at WORKac, Foster + Partners and Skidmore Owings and Merrill.

Henry Ng, AIA
Henry is a first generation Chinese American and received his BA from Yale College and his M.Arch from Yale School of Architecture. He is licensed in New York State and New Jersey.
Prior to co-founding Ideas of Order, he worked at Office of Metropolitan Architecture, WORKac, and Foster + Partners.
