A young family commissioned us to renovate their historic apartment in Hudson Heights to accommodate their changing needs. A new flexible children's bedroom/office was carved from the existing open living area to add needed functionality. A series of four polychrome millwork interventions weave the interior together. The color was designed to resonate in individual pairings but also harmonize as a vibrant whole when experienced from the living room.
