Adirondacks Lakehouse

Under Construction - Willsboro, New York - 4 bedroom House

​

This new 1800-sqf lake house is built on the site of a smaller, existing structure that had been used for generations by the clients, a retired couple. The house was designed with aging in mind and with the goal of honoring the site and previous house. The design learns from the vernacular "camps" of the Adirondacks region in its form and material expression. The exterior facade is a contemporary take on rustication with oversized 3' x 4' marine plywood shingles.
